This site has been created as a follow up to the publication of my book “Wildlife of Maldon”.
It is a home for posts on local wildlife records and population changes in subsequent years as well as being a repository for related papers, such as survey reports on key local sites. There are also some galleries for additional photos.
The ambition is to provide as complete a picture as possible of the natural history around Maldon and Heybridge.
If you have any records or other information that you think should be added, please send in details (and photos if possible!)
