The book“Wildlife of Maldon” was published back in 2021. This website carries on where it left off by documenting our wildlife during subsequent years.
It is a home for posts on all aspects, including unusual sightings and population changes, as well as being a repository for related papers such as species lists and reports on key local sites. There are also galleries for additional photos.
The ambition is to maintain as complete a picture as possible of the natural history around Maldon and Heybridge.
If you have any records or other information that you think should be added, please send in details (and photos if possible!)
